Winooski Veteran's Appreciation Week Schedule
November 7: Veterans Appreciation Reception at 5:00 – 6:30PM in the Sadie White Room. Representatives from CCV and from the community will discuss mental health and employment assistance services for veterans. Light refreshments will be served.
November 8: Panel discussion presented by Thomas Ware’s The Constitution class at 4:00 in the Community Room. Discussion topic is Congress’ power to declare war versus the President’s power as Commander in Chief to deploy the military without a declaration of war.
November 7 – 11: Veterans Thank You Wall in the lobby. Stop by and sign your name. Salute to Veterans Slideshow. Information table with representatives from local veterans organizations in the lobby.
